The challenge

Is it possible to equip a newly built headquarters with AV technology so that it is ready for the company’s future growth?

Time management is essential when fitting a new building. Each element has to be coordinated and completed on time. Of course, this also applies to the installation of the AV system in Continental’s newly built headquarters.

The prestigious building had to have state-of-the-art AV technology and deliver the best audio and video quality. But how good is the latest AV system if it no longer serves the company’s needs after a few years and has to be upgraded?
To avoid a bad investment, scalability was therefore an important requirement.

At the time of installation, 6 rooms with space for up to 35 people were planned for, and a total of 96 echo-canceling channels were to be mapped. However, the system needed to be easily expanded to more rooms and channels in the future.

The solution

The new High-Impact conference rooms have been equipped with AV technology to handle both conference call meetings and hybrid video conferences. Users can conveniently dial into the conferences using their own devices.

A centrally located Core 5200 was installed in the data centre, which processes the signals for the entire building.

The Core currently has 96 echo-cancelling channels. The high power of the Core 5200 allows for the subsequent expansion of the system to more rooms and channels.
