The challenge

The company’s forward-thinking work environment required the best audio and video conferencing to enhance the hybrid working model and bring the whole company together regardless of their physical location. An intuitive control system was needed to help users easily configure the AV to their needs in multi-use spaces, while uninterrupted communications and minimal downtime were essential in supporting the company’s innovative research and agile work practices.

The solution

GAMA Healthcare partnered with Audiologic and chose the Q-SYS Platform to provide fully integrated audio, video, and control within their new building. The professional tier of Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager was used to provide remote access and real-time visibility of the health of the system in order to minimise downtime.

A redundant pair of QSC Core 510i processors drive and manage all audio, video and control in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces and background music for open areas.

Audiologic designed an intuitive Q-SYS User Control Interface (UCI) for the main space, operated via a Q-SYS TSC Series network touchscreen controller, allowing users to recall presets at the touch of a button. A special UCI was also created for the company’s CEOs to give full control of AV in the space.

The entire system is monitored and managed through the cloud using Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager. This allows for access, updating of designs and operation of UCIs from anywhere in the world, and the system can be supported without the need to send an engineer to the site. Real-time alerts mean they can be proactive in support, ensuring minimal downtime for GAMA Healthcare.
